So I chose Chinese instead.
Any road up, the opportunity arose to go to China to teach English and improve my Chinese. I jumped at the chance. I would be in a small city near Beijing, so I could work in the week, and during the weekend I could head to the big smoke to absorb all those thousands of years of Chinese culture and history. And do some partying too.
